What I Learned

before, during and after the three mile race.

1. 17,000 runners/walkers plus Wall Street commuters equals a crazy amount of people in one small area.

2. Following the cute girl with the nice ass is a good motivator to keep running.

3. Any race that goes on a street named Beaver Street is a race for me!

4. Finidng another nice ass to follow is a good idea.

5. Passing people who are running and not walking rules.

6. The energy drink we got after the race sucked big time (name to come soon) but the Subway sandwich was good.

7. After parties/gatherings are always the best part, especially when you are in good company.

8. Hey, I really can do this running thing.

What Annoys Me...Today

On semi-yucky days, like today I hit the gym to get my running in. Normally this is a very pleasant experience. Everyone at my gym is nice and you never have to wait for the equipment you want to use.

However, there is this one girl I want to smack upside the head. You see everyday at the same time she uses the stairmaster, plugs her headphones in to watch TV and begins her superfast workout. Except the whole entire time she has this really dumb smile on her face. As much as I enjoy my workouts there is seriously no reason to smile that much. I've even checked out what she could be watching on TV. Nothing is on at that time that is even remotely funny, unless you count watching Elisabeth Hasselback make a fool of herself.

If the freakish smiling weren't enough she does not have a lock for her locker. I've seen many women get all frustrated with this because they think, "A ha, here is the perfect locker for me," but only get frustrated when they find her shit in there. Also when she is finished with her workouts she comes into the locker room and starts opening all of the lockers in one general area, she apparently can't remember which locker she used either.

My advice get a lock and stop smiling so much!

Happy Mother's Day

I spent most of today saying the following:

"Behave."

"Be quiet."

"Stop touching her."

"Don't look at her."

These are similar things I recall my mother saying to both me and my
brother. Now I find myself uttering those same phrases - only I'm
saying them to my dogs.
