Robin Miller This morning I was too lazy to change the channel after Ellie Krieger and therefore actaully watched Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller. The woman actualy used minced garlic from a jar! Hey Robin, it doesn't take that long to mince your own frsh garlic. // posted by stacey on 12:12:00 PM // | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday, June 29, 2007 I hate it Sometimes I get really bad and don't post anything on here for a long time. Most of the time it is because I'm too busy at work to post something or just plain tired when I get home. I hate it. I hate it even more because life has been quite eventual the past few weeks. At the beginning of the month I ended up in the emergency room with appendicitis. Not just appendicitis but a perforated one. But the one good thing that could happen in this situation did -- an abscess formed around and held all the bad stuff. That saved me from having major surgery. It did not prevent a hospital stay, which provided me with the opportunity to have catheter instered into the abscess to drain the gook. Not fun people, especially when it was put in (Really Dr. Hodges it felt like you punched me in the gut. Next time use more lidocaine.) Also not fun when trying to get in and out of bed and then trying to sit down on the toilet to pee. The fun part was the morphine, man I miss that stuff. I'll get the appendix, the now dead rotting disgusting thing in my abdomen removed at the end of August. The next week was staying home and building my strength back up. My first day back at work I ran in the Corporate Challenge, well about half of it. Amazingly, I was only 10 minutes off of my normal pace so I thought that was pretty cool. My brother and brother-in-law were here this past week and it was a lot of seeing them and hanging out, but I am glad to have my bed back, so are the cats. Chrissy got another job in the company so at the end of the month I will be all by my lonesome self and will probably be suicidal by then end of the first week of August. // posted by stacey on 6:15:00 PM // | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, June 18, 2007 True Colors I'm at the true colors concert @ radio city right now & and had to let you know that it is awesome! // posted by stacey on 9:12:00 PM // | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
