Still no Power
According to con ed, port chester has the second most outages in westchester. Yonkers has the most & they have been w/o power for 3 days. It's gonna be a while.

Setting Up a New Cell Phone
It may have taken me a better part of an hour but I finally figured out how to set up the main email on my new phone. This became complicated because I have five email options available through the many features of my service plan.
To blog and post pictures through my main messaging feature has finally returned and I am happy once again!

Happy July 4th!
Today is the last day of my sort of five day vacation. I say sort of because ending up with the five days off in a row worked like this. Friday was my regularly scheduled flex-day, then of course there was Saturday and Sunday, then my company was closed on Monday and Tuesday. Depending on where the holiday falls we usually do get two days for July 4. So I ended up with five days out of the office without having to lose any pto days, which is why it is called a sort of five day vacation instead of a flat out five day vacation.
The sort of five day vacation has been used to mostly unwind from all the stress at work. I did have these grand plans of doing a podcast but the hammock was way too comfortable and frankly I just didn't feel like bringing my laptop out into the backyard to post stuff. I did find some new music I want to share and will post that soon, I promise.
The weekend was also spent upgrading my cell phone, along with mother's. I got on a cheaper plan (woo-hoo!) and was reminded about how much I love bluetooth and Apple's iSync. It made the address book conversion a piece of cake.
It is slightly overcast today so I'm not sure how much hammock time I'll actually be getting today but I will tell you this, I'll still be chillin' on the last day of my sort of five day vacation.
